I love these shorts! I am 5' 7 '', about 140lb and ordered a medium. The waistband is the same size as a small in my chaser shorts so be aware of that. The material is more of a brushed finish than the method line. They did n't budge on my run, love the waist pocket for my phone and the side pockets have a stretchy mesh lining that is very secure. I received the shorts and they were `` as advertised ''. The fit was exactly as described. I almost hesitated to purchase them based on a review I read. It indicated the pockets failed when the reviewer put his phone in the pocket. No such issue on my part and that includes the protective case that covers my phone. It was snug and has no movement in the shorts while I run which means I can run comfortably without strapping the phone to my arm or leave it behind.

Usually go for 2 in 1 shorts but always find the base layer element rides up and I end up chaffing. These are a great length, perfect fit and solved my chaffing. Only improvement would be to add a zip pocket on the back for keys or more gels

Ran my second marathon in these. Perfect. Did n't even know they were there—except when I needed to grab my gels from the side pockets. Tested out with a 17 mile long run before the race. Both times no issues with chaffing. Might be a little warm on a hot day, but perfect for mid 50s- 60s. One side pocket seem popped the first time I took them off, but that was fixed up with a little extra stitching from the sewing machine.

I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile run today and I decided mid- run to order another pair as soon as I got home. These are my favorite new running leggings for warmer weather! I had gels and keys in the side pockets and phone in the back pocket and everything was super secure, the leggings did n't ride down or move during the run at all, which I find usually happens with a phone pocket. I wish I had these for the half marathon I ran last week! I love that I do n't need to wear a running belt with these since they hold so much. The leggings are super comfortable, flattering, and did n't need any stretch or wear- in period. I 've tried many pairs of cropped running leggings over the years and they either do n't have pockets, pockets are n't big enough, they ride down, the thigh band is too tight, etc.- these do n't have any of those issues!

These are my favourite shorts to run in. They are comfortable and do n't ride up. The pockets are wide enough to fit my phone in and it gives me confidence that my keys and phone are secure. I ran an ultra marathon( 40 miles) in these and I had no problems. I tried and tested a few brands before I found these shorts( others rub or ride up). I would definitely recommend and I 'll be buying another pair.

It is all about the pockets! I ran in these shorts for fall marathon. The longer length is nice on my 60 year old legs. The pocket in the back waistband is perfect for your phone. Sometimes Brooks run big, but these were true to size. Amble room for nutrition.

I ’ ve never been a shorts person( usually wear capri cut tights) but recently I got the idea to try shorts+ long sleeve crop top( sun protection) for summer running. These are phenomenal. The ends don ’ t roll up and the side pocket fits my iPhone 11. I probably could have fit more comfortably in a Small but I like a lot of compression so got XS. Takes some work to squeeze into but I feel secure during my run without being uncomfortable. 5 ’ 3 ” 120lb Only thing I don ’ t like is that the logo on the left leg peels off( might be attributed to how tight the shorts are so they have to stretch a lot).

I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re size accurate and come down to a nice length for biker shorts, they ’ re not too short and seem appropriate for most situations especially during the summer since there ’s no pattern/giant logo so you could easily dress them up with a longer dressier shirt or pair with any shirt to go work out. It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control.
