[ At first glance when taking the Metcon 9's out of the box I thought for sure they were going to be too big. I was extremely happy once I put them on that I was wrong because I loved the color, design, and weight of the shoe. The shoe looks wider than necessary when you look at it( or maybe I 'm just used to more narrow looking shoes), but once it is on you realize that the shoe hugs your food just right and allows space for your foot to expand while moving. If you are more into the natural fit then this is the shoe for you. The heel is a lot more stiff than I 'm used to for Nike, but to be honest, I like it a lot better that way. The shoe holds on to your heel for next to no movement. The grip on the shoe is next level as well, I 'm in the mountains, we hike a lot on unsteady terrain. The soles on these shoes gripped everything just right. The fabric breathes, but will also get wet very easily, I would n't wear these on a rainy day or on a rainy excursion. Love the velcro flap on the tongue to hold the shoe laces in place! That's a nice touch I had yet to see in any sneaker design.

This shoe, at MSRP, is very overpriced. There's not a lot of tech or anything too special and it does n't need to be since it's a barefoot zero drop show. When on sale, it is worth considering over alternatives. I just wanted a zero drop show for the gym. This does what it needs with a nice flat stable platform. There is really no cushion in this shoe, which is expected. It's decently comfortable. It fits true to size for me. I wish the sole was a little more flexible as you can really feel the stiffness when walking around. I do like the convenience of the straps. Another reviewer mentioned the slit the strap goes through can irritate the toes. Luckily, it was n't an issue for me, but I can definitely see it being a problem for some. The grip is very good, no complaints there. Overall, it's a good shoe and recommended at the right price.

I normally wear a 7. 5 women ’s and felt these were to tight. If you have a wide foot it has enough space- I would suggest sizing up for the purpose of the length of the shoe. Overall after breaking them in they ’ ll be fine. And wan na add they are very cushioned so makes so kudos on that.

[ I can not say enough about how comfortable these shoes are! They fit just right and supply good cushion and support. I love to use them on heavy weight leg days because they provide great stability making me feel more grounded and stable. They are awesome for short runs. I would say up to about 3 miles. I tend to have a problem with some running shoes because the toe box usually runs narrow but these have just the right amount of space. Because their use is so diverse, they are exceptional for my metabolic conditioning. These shoes would also be great for every day use but I like to keep my training shoes strictly for training. But, I might just get a second pair for casual wear!

They ’ re lightweight but have plenty of cushioning to make them comfortable to wear for extended periods and an array of activities. These shoes have plenty of bounce that make it easy to keep momentum and helps with posture. I love the sleek look of these, despite having a thicker sole. As a mom, I need support in my shoes to keep me from feeling fatigued at the end of a long day on my feet and these do just that! And who doesn ’ t love a stylish and functional shoe?!
