[ My husband and I just took these chairs on a five day canoe trip. They easily strapped under the stern seat for long portages and were balanced easily with a stuff sack under the bow seat. They set up in about a minute once you get used to the process and are so comfortable. If it was colder I would line the ventilated seats and backs with a blanket. They are tippy until you get used to them but it ’s not a big deal since you ’ re so close to the ground; also, all lightweight camp chairs are tippy. Too big to bring backpacking( don ’ t pack down small enough for a backpack) but definitely the right chair for a canoe trip!

[ I love this chair! It's perfect for the beach and my boys sporting events. It folds down and up easily. The seat lays flat and is very sturdy. The tray table is the best feature! I love all the storage on the other side, but I do wish it was sewn on and not velcro.

[ This is very good chair I have ever compared to all other outdoor chairs we have. Light weight and easy to carry even when we have to walk for a mile. Made of aluminum and easily foldable. Can be used for a beach trip, camping, to watch a sport or an evening music show. This has an add on tray table and extra pockets which are very useful to stuff all small things in there. Very comfortable to sit and sturdy. Seat is sturdy and firm, not too stretchy. Hoping it will be durable.

[ I have an original Mayfly chair purchased over 5 years ago. I 'm still using it without any problems. The Grand Trunk version of the Mayfly appears to have a more robust frame. The fabric feels about the same thickness. The comfort of sitting is as good as that of Alite. I recommend this compact and comfortable chair to people who want to enjoy the outdoors in a laidback style.

[ Brought this chair to a BBQ and it was a hit with the kiddos and adults alike. It was big enough for kids to curl up in but not an adult. It is not meant to be the size of your regular adult camping chair, if that is what you are looking for it is not for you.
