I have found them to be in terrific working order and have n't seen the need to replace anything just yet. A lot of the reviews say to buy a size smaller, but I just bought a 9 women's( I 'm typically an 8- 9 normal shoes, and an 8 in men's skates) and they fit pretty well. While there's definitely some extra room, I laced them a bit tighter and they fit perfectly. The boot goes about an inch or two more up your leg than average rink rental skates, so they have more support and feel more `` attached '' to your leg. The toe stops are pretty large and flat( not peg- shaped), so it's really easy to slow down or stop. They do weigh 7. 5 pounds total, so be prepared for a workout. Because of that, it may also be harder to sustain high speeds unless you 're really working at it, but it's been easier for me to stop or slow down quickly. Overall, they feel very sturdy and strong, they do n't hurt my feet or give me blisters, and they roll very nicely. No adjustments required; I skated on them for a few hours immediately after opening the box. They worked very well on the smooth concrete sidewalks at the park, but rolled a little bit easier and faster at the indoor skating rink, so be advised. I ordered them on a Friday; they took about 5 business days to ship. I had to call to change my address while the order was in route, and the customer service representative was very helpful. Overall, great product.

It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. My 4 year old son LOVES his Neon Combo Skates. He has been dying to get skates of his own to keep up with his big brother and these multi- mode skates were the perfect find for him. He started out using them in quad mode. They definitely helped his balance and he said they were comfortable. As his confidence grew he felt ready to try them in inline mode. Switching the wheels is quick and easy. They are held on by 2 bolts per skate which are easy to remove using the included Allen wrench. Once in inline mode my son spent another hour in the skates and probably would have kept going if we didn ’ t make him come in for dinner. As it got darker outside he really noticed the light up wheels and thought they were the best thing ever. Even after hours in the skates he didn ’ t have any blisters and he said they were comfortable. These skates are WAY better quality than other skates we ’ ve used. They ’ re sturdy and provide solid support while also having super comfy thick padded liners. The adjustable sizing couldn ’ t be easier and will provide years of fun.

The 2- in- 1 skates are perfect for our two daughters, ages 8& 9! We already have a two- year experience with the scooters from Yvolution 💯 and we were so happy to see they were now making skates! Both the skate and inline setups for the 2- in- 1 are working well for each kid, and it was very easy to swap the skate wheel setups out for the inline for our oldest. I love how the adjustable shoe allows for growth to happen. Our oldest was between sizes( 3- 4 US) and we landed on the middle adjustment to start for her. And now we can rest assured they ’ ll continue to fit for the next year or so. The quality and build are excellent for a kid skater, and both our girls love the colors. The purple color and the graphics are really cute – both girls love the design. Our girls are beginners, but after just a week on the inline setup, my oldest has become really confident and asks to skate every day. I would recommend this product for anyone with children learning or even having been skating for a while. We are so grateful to have found a great company for both scooters and skates! We may be ordering more in- line skates next year if our oldest grows out of the 2- in- 1. One more note, the price on these skates is excellent- exactly what we would hope for with growing kids.

I bought these for my kiddo in March 2020 for something to do during pandemic times when schools were shut and there was no recess or PE. My kid uses these still at least once per week if not more. I 've changed the wheels, but not because they fell apart, just because we wanted softer ones for outdoor skating. I 'm buying new stoppers now too because those have worn down but that's because of so much outdoor use. They 've held up perfectly and everything is as great as when we bought them. 10/10 recommend.

Beyond my expectations. The skates fit great. But my child's arms are too skinny for the elbow pads to be secured correctly. Knee pads and wrist guards are good.

I got a very very bad first roller skate as my first ever one. When I switched it with the RB Cruiser 4x80. Man..... The roller skate rolls by itself. Ahahaha almost! Comfortable as a Feather! And fast enough. I 'll upgrade it with ILQ9 bearings and Undercover cosmic lime wheels. I 'm looking forward to get my second rollerblade, but I 'm unsure which model will fit my feet better. I was looking into the Twister 3x110.... But heard it was a bit narrow. So, I got afraid. I wanted to try the same feel and fit of the cruiser, but more confort and a better fit. I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. As good as advertised, do yourself a favor. Stop looking and buy yourself a pair.

I have used Lightning TRSs, Twisters, and Maxxums for the last 30 years. This is the best skate ever for Skate to Ski. It ’s stiffer than other skates so the support is outstanding. The new liner and footbed fit great. It fits so well that I took off the 45 deg buckle. I also put on a frame for bigger 90mm wheels. Great job Rollerblade!

I 've been using the RB Twister since their 2019 version. This latest version is by far the best for me. Good work on the dual sizing and the upgraded liner, makes the skate feels so much comfortable and responsive.

After searching through local sports stores, at the rink, big box stores and websites, we finally chose the Chicago boys rink skates for our 4 and 1/2 year old grandson. They are easy to get on and off, support his ankles, and glide smoothly around the basement floor. They are also suited for the indoor roller rink, which he will be going to soon for a party. He uses them to play roller hockey. Although the shoe is a vinyl, it looks and feels almost like leather-- too bad they still are n't made with leather. We purchased them two sizes bigger than he wears for growth. He wears long sports socks over his regular socks, and that works fine. I would recommend these skates over others that we found at big box stores.

These inline skates are high quality and affordable; I always trust the Chicago Skates brand, and this pair of skates is consistent with previous ones we 've purchased, the brakes work smoothly too; one of the wheels came loose but we were able to use an allen wrench to tighten it up and the wheel is now secured; very smooth skates and nice blue and black colors that my son loves!
