Happy customer from IL
I recently bought this solar power bank and am very impressed! It is compact and works very well!! The light is very bright and it charges fairly quickly with the usb- c. The pad for charging my phone charged at a slower rate but still charged. I would recommend this product in a power outage or for short term needs.

It works great as long as you take care of it properly. Make sure to understand that the Solar does take time to charge, but it does work.

Goal Zero provides a smart panel which knows whether your device still needs charge. ... Really like the feel and sturdiness of this panel. ... I love that the Sherpa 100AC has passthrough charging, so I can daisy chain them and charge them both at

I have a Nomad 7 and love that one as well as the 20. I keep a `` go bag '' in all of our family vehicles and this is an essential to make going off grid a much easier experience

I have the Sherpa 100AC and the Sherpa 100PD and use my Nomad 20 to recharge them. I love that the Sherpa 100AC has passthrough charging, so I can daisy chain them and charge them both at once. My only complaint would be that the 8mm charging cable that can be stored on the back of the solar panel is getting twisted inside the sheathing. I believe this is due to the heat of leaving it charging for multiple hours in the sun, then wrapping it back up. I wonder how long the cable will last and it does n't appear to be swappable if it kinks/breaks at some point in the future. For now, everything is working as expected.

If it's been folded up for a while it's kind of hard to unfold and use other than that it's genuine goal zero quality.

I used Goal Zero for a 1, 500- mile, 75- day solo canoe and kayak expedition.( PaddleQuest 1500) The equipment performed so well that I upgraded for a recent Everglades circumnavigation expedition. Keeping the Venture 75 on charge all day, even with filtered sunlight gave me the juice necessary to keep navigation, communication and lights topped off. It ’s good to venture into the wilderness confident in my essential equipment!

Purchased this for my son to take to college with him so he can keep his Sherpa 100 charged in a power outage. Did the same for my daughter. The 20 is built well and works great to keep smaller power packs charged. I have one and it has worked great over the years.

Charging my Power station 2400 as we speak. Love it.
Using a solar panel for phone charging offers several benefits, including the ability to harness renewable energy, which can be especially useful in remote locations or during outdoor activities. Solar panels can provide a sustainable power source, reducing reliance on traditional electricity. Additionally, they can be lightweight and portable, making them convenient for travel and outdoor adventures.
Solar panels for phone charging work by converting sunlight into electricity through photovoltaic cells. When sunlight hits the cells, it generates direct current (DC) electricity, which can then be stored in a battery or used to charge devices directly. This process allows users to charge their phones without needing a traditional power outlet.
When choosing a solar panel for charging your phone, consider factors such as the panel's wattage, efficiency, and portability. Look for models that offer fast charging capabilities and are compatible with your device. Additionally, consider the durability and weather resistance of the panel, especially if you plan to use it outdoors.
While solar panels are most effective in direct sunlight, many can still generate power in cloudy or low-light conditions, albeit at a reduced efficiency. It's important to understand that charging times may be longer in these conditions. For optimal performance, positioning the panel to maximize exposure to sunlight is recommended.
Most solar panels designed for phone charging are built to withstand outdoor conditions, featuring durable materials that can resist water and impact. Look for panels that are specifically labeled as weather-resistant or rugged, as these are designed to endure the elements. Proper care and storage can also enhance their longevity.
Solar panels designed for charging can typically power a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and other small electronics. Many panels come with multiple output options, allowing you to charge different devices simultaneously. Always check the specifications to ensure compatibility with your specific devices.
