TaylorMade M4 Irons

About This Item

The longest in TaylorMade’s new lineup, M4 Irons deliver next-gen straight distance. RIBCOR technology stiffens the perimeter of the head to localize flexibility in the hitting area to unlock efficient energy transfer and distance. Face Slot and Speed Pocket technologies combine to tighten dispersion and forgiveness. Optimized heel-toe weighting, a Fluted Hosel and 360° Undercut Cavity optimize weight distribution for explosive performance.

RIBCOR Technology:
  • RIBCOR localizes face flexibility in the hitting area, transferring more energy to the ball to increase distance and forgiveness
  • RIBCOR stiffens the perimeter of the head, creating a more rigid structure and enhancing sound and feel
  • RIBCOR mitigates toe flexibility for tighter dispersion

Optimal Weight Placement:
  • Fine-tuned heel-toe weighting provides a significant increase in MOI compared to prior generation for more forgiveness
  • Fluted Hosel and 360° undercut allows for redistribution of mass low in the head to increase launch, distance and consistency

Additional Features:
  • Engineered to equip golfers with a functional blend of distance and accuracy
  • Face Slot technology provides added forgiveness on shots struck toward the heel or toe portions of the face
  • Speed Pocket technology located on the sole preserves distance on shots struck low on the face for forgiveness
  • Speed Pocket and Face Slots combine to increase flexibility at the boundaries of the face for greater ball speed
  • Ultra-thin face (1.5 mm) and leading edge combine to help M4 irons produce incredibly long, straight shots
  • TM DualFeel Grip
  • Game-improvement iron: Medium-sized clubheads with lots of forgiving features while featuring a fairly classic profile at address

Forgiving And Distance Heavy

I bought them a month ago and the m series is very forgiving and the tech holds up well to the newer models. Clubs are forgiving and the lofts on the clubs are 3-5 degrees lower than my last set of irons

Great Clubs!

I have had these clubs for 4 years and have gone from shooting consistently over 100 to a 13 handicap. I liked them so much I have accumulated the hybrid, 3 wood, and driver from this set. I highly recommend if you are looking for a set that is consistent and for moderate swing speeds.

Very Forgiving And Smooth

I just got these after playing ping irons for the last 6 years. These feel awesome and you can definitely feel the forgiveness with off center hits. I shot a better round than usual and haven’t even played in months due to winter!

M4 Irons: Perfect Set, But Swap That 5 For A Sw!

I didn't realize just how unforgiving the shafts were on my old set of quality Ping irons until I purchased my 2021 M4s. They've made my golf game so much more fun. I'm hitting my 8 about 165 yards, and my Approach is good from 120. My only complaint is that most guys who are playing these clubs also probably opt for a hybrid or two rather versus a low iron. I don't touch my 5 and should probably just get rid of it. I'd love to see future sets include a Sand Wedge instead of the 5.

Best Feeling Clubs For The Money

Best clubs iv had I dropped from 20 to 14 in 3 months

Very Happy With My M4 Set

I've had these for maybe 3 years...play 9 holes nearly every week. Very pleased with the irons and especially the hybrids (4-5). I recently had a conversation with a regular player who said he has no consistency or trust in his hybrids...well, I've used many of another brand (albeit they were 10+ years old) and these M4 hybrids work exceptionally well for me. Straight, far, and trustworthy. The pitching wedge is my go-to club for near the hole, it's been incredible and love it. Wish the set I got included a 4-5 iron, but it's OK and I have a 5 from another set in my bag. Overall, I've been very happy with this set.

Beautiful Club- But Select Right Shaft For It.

The club looks fantastic. Feels good. However, I may have made a mistake opting for Senior shaft. I just may keep them, or change shafts to standard flex. My swing speed is between 84- to 86 MPH. My old M2's are standard shafts, not as whippy. Where I would hit a 7 iron 150 to 155 yds depending on wind, now 150 yds no wind- I need to use the 6 iron. My pinching wedge I can hit it approx. 115- 120 yds out with M2. Now it is around 95 to 100 yds. So if you purchase these irons make sure you see a pro and check your swing speed. Being fair I have only used them twice - and it does take a few rounds to get a good feel. I don't know if Taylor would be willing to exchange them for regular flex. One last thing if I do keep them, I will go to a Pro and have my lie angle check and make adjustment on it. My M2 have my angle setup. So that is also something to consider. But the club looks great and does feel good except for e a bit on the lighter weight. BTW I am 71 years old Handicap index 8.7.

Great Starter Set

Purchased this set as my first real set. Went from learning golf to shooting in the 80s. I love this set and absolutely recommend to anybody thats just getting started. They are forgiving, hit far and sound good.

Simply Amazing

I've now played a dozen rounds with the M4's. The feel, forgiveness, and distance is simply amazing. Best irons I've ever played.

Back To Basics

Was frustrated with all the new iron launches and decided to go back to old reliable. Was elated with the M4 irons with both feel and distance. I am a 13 handicap at 71 years old and these irons delivered what I needed.

Great Looking Club!

I bought these back in September of 2023 when I got a rotary cuff tear in my right arm. They are really good game improvement irons. I bought the 2021 model irons. 5- AW. The only thing about TaylorMade irons I do not like, is the weight. I have Titleist T-200’s which are very light, but the M4’s are a pretty light iron. They also have great distance and accuracy. I am also able to hit the ball with a draw or fade. But again, don’t let game improvement irons make you believe all you have to do is swing them, that’s very incorrect, it is a bigger sweet spot, but if you do not hit the ball pretty good already, you will still have problems with any game improvement irons, but the TaylorMade M4’s are a very nice set of irons and will be for many years to come. I do love mine and shot my record on a very challenging course where I live.

Happy With Purchase

I had the previous version of these clubs and bought these on line hoping they would have the same feel. I was not disappointed.
