I bought these because I needed an easy on/off pair of boots. In most cases I have trouble getting my foot into this style boot because I have a high instep. No problem with these and the grip and waterproofing are outstanding.

Not Very Tough, Might Be Right For The Right Situation

Bought these for daily wear shoes in the north during winter/spring. Waterproof, slip on, and ankle high are all great for this area/time of year. My concern with these are they are very thin/flimsy. I have worn them for about 3-4 months and they are already cracked and no longer waterproof. With regards to being flimsy just know they are not the best for any sort of true off-road walking, but if you are using them for a boat/around the water shoe they’re fine. These would probably be fine for strictly intended use: on a boat, limited walking, deck shoes. These are not fine for daily use, rugged use. Overall I bought them because I thought the pattern and shoe looked really nice, but was a comparable price to other well knows waterproof boots. In the future, and for my intended use (daily, slip on, waterproof, all around use) I would not buy again.

I bought these to wear in our brewery brewhouse. I have been wearing Xtratuf boots for about 10 years. I always wore the 12" style and this is the first pair of ankle deck boots. I think they work just fine for the 5ish hours a day that I wear them. I don't think the cushion in the soles are as comfortable as the 12", but still a good boot.
