Learn More About Pro V1 & Pro V1 X

More Speed. More Consistency. More Speed.

Titleist's iconic golf ball line is now better than ever. Improve your game from tee to green with Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls from DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Since debuting in 2000, Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls have remained top sellers throughout the world. The game's best players continue to tee up Pro V1 and Pro V1x on Tour names like Spieth, Scott, Stenson, Thomas and a host of others who routinely take up residence on top of the leaderboard. These elite players love the scoring performance and feel characteristics of Pro V1/V1x, but they're always looking to add more of a critical element: speed.

Titliest accepted the challenge. To give players the speed they crave, the company made several key upgrades to Pro V1 and Pro V1x for the 2019 season. These improvements included:

  • 17% Thinner Cover: The thinner cast Urethane Elastomer cover gives players more speed while maintaining Drop-and-Stop™ greenside control and soft feel.
  • Thicker Casing Layer: The ionomeric casing layer directly under the cover is now 14% thicker on Pro V1 and 11% thicker on Pro VI1x. This enhancement produces higher ball speeds with lower spin in the long game.
  • New 2.0 ZG Process Core: The core is essentially the golf ball's engine. By stiffening portions of the outermost core while maintaining the soft centers, Titleist engineers have optimized Pro V1/V1x for exceptional distance.

Add a touch of color to your game with yellow Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.

Pro V1 vs. Pro V1x: What's The Difference?

The Pro V1 golf ball features a three-piece, multi-component construction with 352 dimples. The Pro V1 has a softer feel and a lower flight compared to the Pro V1x. If you think your ball flight is too high with excessive spin, the Pro V1 can help reduce that spin and add more distance.

Pro V1x golf balls feature a four-piece, multi-component construction with 328 dimples. The Pro V1x offers a higher flight with more spin compared to the Pro V1, with an overall firmer feel. If you struggle to create shot-stopping spin on shots into the green, try Pro V1x.
