SIM Drivers

Lock in top-level performance with 2020 TaylorMade SIM drivers from DICK'S Sporting Goods.

All TaylorMade SIM drivers feature a revolutionary new face with a corrective angle for off-center hits, designed to deliver straighter shots and reduce side spin. Speed Injected™ technology helps maximize ball speed and distance to allow for performance at or near the legal limit.

SIM drivers also include Twist Face™ technology to provide more consistent spin where mis-hits often occur, with more loft in the high toe and less loft and in the low heel. Multi-material construction allows weight to be positioned in the head, lowering CG and increasing MOI/forgiveness.

There are three drivers in the SIM line:

• TaylorMade SIM Driver: The standard SIM driver also features Sliding Weight Technology and a Loft Sleeve™ for optimized face angle, loft and lie customization for ideal spin and trajectory.
• TaylorMade SIM Max Driver: The SIM Max driver is built for more forgiveness and features an 8% larger face than the regular SIM driver. A two-degree Loft Sleeve allows for optimized customization of the face angle, loft and lie.
• TaylorMade SIM Max-D Driver: The SIM Max-D driver features the largest face in the SIM family for ultimate forgiveness. Featuring Draw Technology in 3 stages, the SIM Max-D driver provides up to 20 yards of draw bias through use of divergent face/topline masking, CG heel positioning and slightly reduced face progression.

SIM Fairway Woods

TaylorMade SIM fairway woods provide incredible distance, launch and spin. The V Steel™ sole design helps improve turf interaction through reduced friction and added versatility from any lie, while corrective Twist Face technology provides more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low heel to help provide more consistent spin and straighter shots.

• TaylorMade SIM Titanium Fairway: Advanced multi-material construction includes carbon, titanium and an 80g steel soleplate. The 180cc head design features precisely positioned weight for ultra-low CG for explosive distance, high launch and low spin. ZATECH ultra-strong titanium allows for a faster face, designed for unprecedented performance. The specialized next-gen Speed Pocket is adjustable, allowing for enhanced sole flexibility.
• TaylorMade SIM Max Fairway: The SIM Max fairway wood features multi-material construction with a steel body and carbon crown. The 185cc head design has weight positioned precisely for ultra-low CG, allowing for explosive distance, high launch and mid-low spin. High-strength C300 steel allows for a stronger, faster face for explosive speed.
• TaylorMade SIM Max-D Fairway: Featuring Draw Technology in 3 stages, the SIM Max-D fairway wood provides up to 10 yards of draw bias through use of divergent face/topline masking, CG heel positioning and reduced face progression. The SIM Max-D fairway wood is made with a steel body and carbon crown, with an oversized 190cc head design with precisely positioned weight that promotes draw-biased performance with explosive distance, high launch and mid spin. High-strength C300 steel allows for a stronger, faster face for incredible speed.

SIM Max Rescue™

Experience a transformative new hybrid with the SIM Max Rescue, featuring a V Steel sole design that provides added versatility when playing from difficult or tight lies. The SIM Rescue includes other great SIM family technology like a corrective Twist Face and Speed Pocket.

SIM Irons

TaylorMade SIM irons are loaded with details that support incredible distance and an enhanced feel.

Revolutionary Speed Bridge™ technology supports the topline of the iron to help you unlock explosive distance and forgiveness with improved sound and feel. Chandler Carr, TaylorMade's Product Creation Manager, explains that the Speed Bridge "ties together the topline of the club with the sole of the club, providing you better sound and feel with maximum distance and forgiveness. It allows us to lower the center of gravity, strengthen the loft and provide you really everything that you'd need in a game-improvement iron."

SIM irons also feature an ECHO® Damping System made with energy-channeling geometry to quickly eliminate harsh vibrations at impact, so you can experience better feel without a sacrifice in face flexibility. TaylorMade's patented Speed Pocket helps maximize face flexibility for increased distance and forgiveness on low face strikes.

• TaylorMade SIM Max: SIM Max irons have an ultra-thin face design at just 1.5mm and feature Progressive Inverted Cone Technology for extreme ball speed. The SIM irons' Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) is now uniquely positioned to increase the sweet spot and minimize side spin on mis-hits for straighter ball flight.
• TaylorMade SIM Max OS: SIM Max OS irons feature a forgiving shape design and low center of gravity. The specialized head shaping provides an unmatched combination of distance, forgiveness and playability, with a large face area to help increase stability. A wide sole geometry, lightweight fluted hosel, 360° undercut and the ultra-thin face combine to shift mass from the head to the bottom of the sole for a low, back CG that delivers high ball flights.
