Trying to get back to consistent running and going longer distances. I previously had another brand ’s vest that I only used collapsible water bottles in the front pockets and never used a bladder. Always had comfort issues with it though and overall felt like I could never it to fit comfortably. For this vest though, I have run three 10 mile+ runs and find this one very comfortable. I was easily able to adjust this to fit correctly. I find the bladder easy to use and has been good to use with Tailwind Nutrition as my fuel of choice. I like the available storage as well and enjoy having a space for my phone. There is also so much more storage that I could utilize and have barely scratched the surface of. I did carry sunglasses with me on a run and was nice to have them with me even though I didn ’ t ultimately use them. Definitely happy with this purchase and look forward to more long runs with it.

[ Tested out the Sirrus 36 for the first time in the Moosehead Lake Region in Maine. This pack is great for any type of hike from a short day hike to a long trek and beyond. It's very comfortable and sits well on the shoulders. The weight distribution is great and it is very easy to adjust as you 're moving. It is very easy to secure your trekking poles and you 'll be checking to see if they fell out because you do n't notice them- do n't worry, they 're still there. Absolutely great pack for all types of hiking and treks. However, this pack truly shines on moderate- hard trails that require some climbing and meneuvering. You have to try it.

I purchased this backpack three months ago and let me just say it is the best purchase I have ever made regarding backpacks! It is very practical for both outdoor usage and every day office usage. I travel quite a bit for work and I love going outdoors so I ’ m able to test this backpack in all settings. It ’s light but durable and it has the perfect amount of storage space and pockets. Not only that it ’s completely unique, how many people know about this brand and so I get a lot of compliments. Because I ’ m not wearing that every day known brand. All in all, I highly recommend this bag. It is extremely durable and it is a unique article to have.

[ I am pretty impressed with this pack. I have a few very high end hunting packs and they always seem to cut off some hip circulation. With a 3 night off trial campsite this pack was fantastic! I was skeptical but this pack performed very well. I really liked the U- zip access, huge hip pockets, and the side pockets that I can grab a waterbottle from while wearing the pack. A couple of things I did n't like: those huge hip pockets left no room for a bear spray holster, there is no way for the lid to double as a separate pack for little jaunts from camp, and the hip belt was maxed tight on my 34 '' waist in the Med/LG frame choice. I could get the waist belt tight enough but if I stopped eating cookies...

[ My new Kestrel 38 is a replacement for my old Kestrel 38, which I thoroughly wore out, trekking through the Himalayas, Andes, Pyrenees and here at home in the North Cascades. The pack fits perfectly and carries comfortably, not to mention how good looking it is.
5
I originally bought this pack to walk the Camino de Santiago France, 500 miles. But, it was too tall to use as a carry on bag on the airline. I did train with it and walked a lot of miles through mountains, etc.. Very comfortable and well designed. Everything functions well.

I ’ ve taken this backpack to two different 30 day trips. And I have been through every single situation, terrain( minus snow), 10+ flights( a few made made check in bag) camped, hiked, walked through beaches, visited hostels. Hours in airports and this backpack is A beast. I stuff the heck out of this bag. It packs like a 50L. The top most pocket is so big. Can fit a toiletry bag and more. Still looks new, quality is superb. Passport fits perfectly in hip pockets and snacks and earbud case. Very light and comfortable. My bag was roughly 25- 40 pounds at all times. Perfect for long trips( 10+ days)

[ Great pack. Plenty of room, well made and light weight. This is my 3rd Talon 22 pack. You might be asking why I have needed to buy a 3rd. The short answer is that I loved my first pack, but I wanted a second in a different color. Then I bought the 2nd. Unfortunately both the 1st and the 2nd Talon 22 packs where destroyed when my house burned in the Palisades Fire. Short answer, I am sold on the Talon 22.

I used it for backcountry skiing the fit and how it proformed when skinning or skiing excellent. Its only top accessible, and a lack of easy acces pocket for avalanche equipment. Note I knew it was n't a dedicated ski pack wanted something larger then what was available. Was able to comfortably carry and ski with heavier loads. I enjoyed 50 days of skiing something like 35 of them were backcountry here in Alaska. Skiing adventures from Hatcher pass, with lots of local runs near Anchorage, and some trips to Turnagain pass.

[ I had a new Atmos 50L pack and started using it for winter hiking the NH 4K foot mts. It was too big for me as I had the wrong size and not great for winter hiking. The mutant works very well. I have hiked two mts with it so far, with full traction mounted to outside ~28lbs. Attaching snow shoes, crampons and micro spikes works well with all the external attachment straps. The shallow side pockets help hold my hiking poles when needed. The large top is easy to get into, a is the main compartment. I can easily put layers under the top to hold during a layer break. The pack is comfortable and handles very well with the 28lbs. I like the flat back, it is warmer than a mesh and doesn ’ t trap snow. My only complain is the shoulder straps are narrow and do not come down far, which limits what I can attach ti them. My snack bottle works but even in lowest loop is up high. And the loops are small. The front straps are a bit thin, but work fine for holding a crampon bag or even the snow shoes I was concerned that the lower padding on hips and waist would not be as comfortable as the atmos. But not so, I don ’ t even notice it, the the mutant is much easier to get into and out off.

[ What a gorgeous little bag. I owned the original Tempest 20 and it took almost 15 years of everyday hard use to kill it. It ’s great for day hiking or a single overnight trip, or just everyday life. Here ’s to another 15 years!

[ I have traveled to several continents and used the water bladder and pack for day hiking. It is very comfortable and the weight is distributed around my waist. The hiking poles are strapped on the side of the pack. The lining started to peel and osprey replaced the entire pack. Thank you for a very good pack for my adventures.

I was in the market for a gym bag, but wanted something other than those trendy cotapaxi bags everyone seems to carry around. It was by a fluke that I came across the Zealot series, which makes sense considering it's a new design. After watching the product video, I was convinced to get this bag. I definitely am a fan of the separate compartment for shoes with even enough room to place my chalk bag. Definitely saves the hassle of dusting off items you do n't want chalk on such as a tablet or food. The bag is sleek in its design, making it easy for edc. Now to test its limits for a full day with sport climbing.

[ Just returned from the BWCA with my Aether 65. This is a nice pack that worked well for a 4 day self supported journey deep in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. Our trip included 5 portages with 3 having quite a bit of undulation. The pack was weighed down with 44lbs of gear and was comfortable( as much as 44lbs of gear can be, definitely dropping some weight on the next trip). I liked it because I typically start trips like this fresh and strong and have my pack set up to that posture with quick( on the fly) adjustments being made as I ’ m flagging from hiking and paddling for hours. Nice pack that is well thought out with all the features you need and none that are useless. Both of my sons were wearing the same pack with zero complaints. Nice product that ’s worth the investment.

Used this pack over 3 days and 30 miles summitting King's Peak in Utah. I purposely packed more luxury camp items for a total pack weight of 30 pounds. At that weight the pack was the most comfortable and least sweaty of any I 've ever used. I nearly purchased the pro 55, but some of the features of the standard 58 really make for a more comfortable journey. I can always do the top brain and shave 4- 5 ounces, if desired to get within 7- 8 ounces of the Pro and hit the trail with far more comfort in the shoulder straps, hip padding, andplaces to lay my trekking poles.

[ Just returned from a weekend hiking in the Cranberry Glades section af the Monongahela National Forest. With food, water, and all my creature comforts items, my pack weighed in at 30 lbs. I couldn ’ t ask for a more comfortable pack. The adjustment options, along with the front stuff pocket proved to make my hike much more enjoyable. The only thing that needs to be changed is the cinch straps cross the side pockets. It was difficult to remove and replace my water bottles without first stopping to remove my pack.

I hiked across Spain for 500 miles over 35 days carrying this pack. I had NO issues and it was so comfortable. I carried about 13- 15 lbs with a water bladder. Only wish the water bladder nozzle had a cover as every time I set the pack down my nozzle touched the ground- good for my immune system! I just feel so grateful for my pack. One of your sales people on the phone recommended it after I tried several other models and sizes. Could n't be happier. One of the zippers broke before my trip but it was n't key. [ I love this pack. It ’s my mtb trail building pack. I can fit my sawing helmet in the little helmet spot. Which is great. Tons of room! Just enough pockets. I really dig the hip pocket. I find the quality to be super durable. Almost to a fault because the only annoying thing is sometimes the zipper on the main pouch can be a B to zip. I think it ’s because the frame and probably what you would want for a zipper there, toughness. No big really. Glad I went the osprey route!

Bought it for the man of the house who does weekender hikes with family in summer it has great amount of pockets to store all his chargers and stuff. When it ’s fully packed it ’s not too heavy. And is a great starter pack.

This is a great pack, very light and versatile. Comes with a nice rain cover that packs easily into the front pocket. The gray color is very cool and keeps the contents of the pack cool on hot sunny trails. I really liked the main front zipper to access what I needed quickly from the pack.

This is such a cool camping/hiking backpack, it has more pockets than I 'd know what to do with. There is a little pocket at the bottom that holds a waterproof cover. It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. I like that the main compartment can unzip to fit a sleeping bag or other bulky items. I have n't used it yet for hiking but it will be great for our next camping trip!

This bag is a great size and style. It seems to be good quality. Has multiple storage places. The padding on the belt makes it comfortable to wear. Will for sure fit all your hiking/exploring necessities.

The bag is adequately sized for all hikes and most short camping trips. Despite its relatively small size, it boasts a number of impressive features. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

[ I love this pack! Perfect size for a full day out of summiting or ice climbing. Plenty of room to add gear for whatever conditions the mountain decides to throw at you. You definitely get a perfect fit based on the provided adjustments and the feel if the pack distributes the weight beautifully to not weigh you down so that your energy isn ’ t spent by the weight. The fit is part of you so when you are calculating every move on a ridge thousands of feet up, you don ’ t have to worry about your pack. This pack hits it for me in every way for my mountains, cliffs, frozen waterfall needs and the Mars Orange is awesome! Climb on!

[ Have only taken this pack on one trek so far but it was great. Very comfortable and distributes weight nicely. I love how convient it is to access the inside of the pack with the front pouch. Only complaint is the water bottle pocket- it ’s very difficult to get a 1. 5 liter Nalgene in and out when the pack is full.

I did n't understand the significance of a female- specific pack until I got this one-- I had been using a 75L+ unisex/ male pack for 10+ years and it always felt just a little off. The first time putting this one on, fully loaded, for a 5 day backpacking trip, I realized what a game- changer it was. Originally I was concerned going down in size by 5L, but all the pockets and stash points make up for it. It packs much better than my previous pack and the weight is distributed better and sits on my hips more comfortably. Definitely recommend!

Just got this pack as a replacement for my very old and trusted Arial 75. Despite being a guy I got the women's as my last one was a women's and it fit me so well. I am 5' 7 '' '' and 155#. Super comfortable and easy to adjust. I have just used it so far for day backcountry skiing. It easily synched down to a small size and was narrow with no wobble for skiing in the trees. Lots of pockets, I especially like the double pockets in the lid for sorting small stuff.

[ Bought this a few weeks ago for a backpacking trip to Olympic National Park and it ’s been great so far! I ’ m a 5 ’ 9 ” woman with athletic/curvy build. Thoughtful compartments, detachable smaller pack, built in rain cover, and seems pretty lightweight to me. I love the green color of the pack and the neon green color of the rain cover. My other pack is a 45 Osprey from 4 years ago and this frame seems more supportive/better padded.

Spent three months backpacking in Europe upon my retirement, at age 65, with this wonderful Osprey backpack! We traveled in all kinds of weather and used all modes of transportation! Also, have been backcountry camping in Canada, California, and Colorado! She still looks new after a busy 10 years on and off the trails! I am currently looking to downsize to a smaller Osprey backpack…walking the Camino in a few months! Only an Osprey works for me!!

[ I bought this not just for backpacking trips but I use it also for camping trips, overnight stays at hotels or airbnbs, and on the plane rather than rolling suitcases.

I 've had this pack since 2006. It's been on many adventures with me, from backpacking in Canyonlands to training hikes in Teluride to travel through Taiwan. For several years, I used this bag for grocery shopping and going to the laundry mat, when it was often 70 pounds. It's so comfortable that even fully loaded, I can easily dance while wearing it. This pack has survived bear attacks, rain storms, deserts, baggage handlers, and having its capacity tested endlessly. After 15 years, I 've noticed the first sign of wear- a small tear in a seam. I 'm happy with the longevity of the product, and I 'm heartened that I can send it to Osprey for a professional- level repair for just the cost of one- way shipping. The All Mighty Guarantee is one reason I 'm so loyal to Osprey- they did a fantastic job repairing bear damage, and they quickly sent me a set of replacement buckles after I damaged one of mine. I love how comfortable the hip belt and harness are, partly thanks to the high degree of adjustability. If it every gets lost or stolen, I will happily buy the same bag. I barely notice my bag while I 'm hiking, meanwhile my hiking buddies complain about how uncomfortable their similarly priced non- Osprey packs are, or say how happy they are to get them off. I do n't mind how the weight gets divided on group trips, because I know my pack can handle adding on the tent, carrying more than my share of food, and having a few liters of extra water. If you 're looking for a comfortable bag that you can use in a range of circumstances for decades to come, look no further than the Osprey Ariel.

[ Lightweight and comfortable. Top `` brain '' converts to a daypack. Lots of pockets and storage. I like the optional access from the front or top.

[ I purchased this after having a bad experience with a different pack of a different brand. I am 5 ’ 5 ” and weigh about 116 pounds. I am a bit short waisted too and I thought the pack fit my frame perfectly. No weird rubbing on my lower back after a 31 mile backpacking trip. Lots of space and convenient pockets. Super functional and can ’ t recommend enough!

[ This pack meets almost all my expectations and hopes! I love the suspension system the most. My pack feels like a hug! I appreciate the choice of removing the “ brain ” to save weight. The hip belt is comfortable. My only issue is with the shoulder straps. Over many hours on the trail, I notice that the straps do not sit completely comfortably around the front of my shoulders. That said, this is still my favorite pack out there!

Breezy
[ I like this pack a lot- out of the packaging I feel like it was really stiff and side pockets were almost unusable but after a week of using could easily get water bottles in and out without taking pack off. Hip belt pockets are a nice size but definitely a design flaw with the zipper and they are a pain to open and close. Overall super comfy pack and durable.

I have used the Eja 48 model before this one. There are things I like more about this new model and things I like less. Here is my comparison: Pros for new model: Not as wide as the old one. Side pockets, however they are really hard to zip after you open them while wearing the pack. Shoulder adjustments are really nice. The hip belt is positioned absolutely perfect, likely due to the adjustable shoulder straps. This pack feels more sturdy and well built. Cons for new model: The shoulder straps are not nearly as padded and comfortable. The side pockets are not as large on the new model. I feel like I ca n't fit as much into this pack. I do like this new model very much but all in all I think that the old model is a bit more comfortable for me. I will keep and continue to use this one and hopefully I will become more used to the differences and come to love this one as much as the old one. This new pack fits well and feels balanced. None of the cons I mentioned are a deal breaker for me. A lot of thought has gone into this design and I appreciate it!
