These are quite seriously the best pair of shorts that I have ever owned. They come in sizes not often available in the US, have room in the hips to move around in, and have extremely durable but stretchy fabric; particularly in the middle so movement is never limited. The only ways they could get even better would be to have a zipper leg attachments and the black fabric colors to initially come as one blending color.- Additional Bonus: The pocket set up is amazing!

My last favorites were Columbia( from 4- 5 years ago), which I had to `` retire '' this year... they 've seen a lot of wear, and have held up great! I recently ordered 4 different styles in a few different sizes. This style fit me the best, so I bought 5 pair. I am 5' 7 '', 130 lbs, and 60 yo. I have long, lean legs, and a short waist. I have shorts that fit me well from size 4- 8, just depends on the style. I tried size 6 in the 5 '' inseam, but the waist was a little snug, so I returned for size 8, which fit perfectly. I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it. Some of the others I tried were a bit stiff and `` papery '' feeling. I highly recommend these.

After wearing these shorts for a short period of time, they quickly became my husbands number 1 pair of shorts. When asked what he likes most about them he pointed out that they are incredibly stretchy and flexible but have a nice sturdy feel to them. He prefers a trimmer fit to his shorts with longer inseams and these were perfect! They also have cargo short style storage while still looking much cleaner and sleeker. He does wish there was a second pocket on the rear.

I roll these up and bring them in pack every trip, they 're great for when I get to camp and start to chill, they work as swim shorts and dry quick, they work if it's really a hot day and the trail is n't too rugged. I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.

[ I love these shorts — I find it almost impossible to find shorts that fit me( narrow waist, curvy through butt and thighs), but these fit perfectly. The material is light, comfortable, dries quickly, and seems to resist odors better than other athletic shorts I have. The little zippered pocket is a nice touch, too. I 've worn Prana Stretch Zion shorts for several years and have yet to find better all- around shorts. They 're very comfortable, light, and durable, and most importantly for me, come in a 12 '' length. I 'm 6' 4 '', so my only suggestion for improvement would be to add a 14 '' option. The pockets are good- sized; the zippered thigh pocket is great for keeping keys in during water activities. The Charcoal color looks great with nearly any shirt.

Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.

I bought these based on a friend's recommendation. After week one, I had a small fire in the back of my truck... long story, but in the process of putting it out, a lot of the melting plastic from my tent and sleeping pads hit my right leg. Melting and sticking to my shorts. It did not go through and wonderfully enough after many washes, there is only a small hole and a stain from the event. My lower uncovered bare leg did n't fare as well, but they certainly helped me get the fire out and save my truck. These short are tough! I will be buying a second pair for sure.

I have purchased four pairs over as many years, one was nearly identical called Abisko Lite Trekking Shorts but I see no difference, the current `` Lite '' model does look different. Anyhow these are simply great from nearly every perspective. Light, but reinforced where you 'd want them to be. Stretchy and slim, not baggy and sloppy and yet you never feel constrained by them especially if you have big thighs. I 'm very glad there's no back pockets but instead a reinforced seat, my area if NE has much sharp granite you end up sitting on these do well. There's two well thought out low- profile cargo pockets that look sharp and are actually useful. Glad there's a mesh pouch for a phone in one. And low profile zippers for the properly deep hand pockets to keep items from falling out. What would I add? two small plastic snaps on the bottom cuffs so you could roll them up once and get a little more above the knee thigh cooling. I 've noticed I do this when I am really working and even without any kind of snap the stretchy material generally keeps the `` cuff '' and lets me have a shorter short. Also side vent zips please!. Then these would be absolutely perfect. Anyhow, pair five is being picked up soon.
