These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

I ’ ve been wearing these pants for both work and play for the last 3 years. Phenomenal in almost every way. Hard wearing, durable, and stylish. I do wish they were a bit thicker( like this version from years ago), but they are thick enough for construction work. They happen to be just right for backpacking in the Winds of Wyoming- warm days, cold nights. As to the comments from others about being too tight, order a larger size… Pockets are adequate for what I put in them but they are not giant cargo pockets. One of the best features is the strategic stretch material. Pants are never binding and always comfortable. Thank you for making an amazing product!

No offense, but size up. I ’ m specifically speaking to my thiqq boys that make noise in the gym. We love leg day, we do it because it allows us to hike for longer. We do it for the glutes. Trust me when I say it ’s not you it ’s them. Size up and thank me later. Aside from the sizing I love these and I personally think they are a great investment if you want to take your hiking attire to the next level. Ventilation isn ’ t the cure for everything and everyone sweats differently. The ventilation here definitely cured my souther sweat factory. I used these on a hike and my back was getting sweaty so on way back I ventilated and holy cow what a difference. You sacrifice a pocket and some thigh space by having the zipper to ventilate but this thiqq boy doesn ’ t like to chafe and am I happy I found these. I still give these a 5 star regardless of the size up. I do not like to have a sweaty bottom or back and this did exactly what I needed. Take the time and invest in gear that will last longer, haste makes chafe.

Initial observations. These pants are true to size. They fit great with a belt. I was worried about the boot hook and vent zipper. The boot hook is tucked away so that it is protected from accidently catching. The zipper pulls on the vents tucks away when open or closed.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

I wanted to love the keb trousers but I couldn ’ t get over a few flaws. The thicker material is not ideal for summer conditions and the reinforced butt gave me a uni- butt. I recently bought the keb agile trousers and they are perfect. The pants are thinner, still durable, and have quite a bit of stretch! Overall I think these new trousers are the perfect edition to my hiking wardrobe.

This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

I bought a pair of these pants four years ago love them so much bought another pair two years ago they 've become my favourites and I overwear them. They still look like new except for a small pick on the thigh of my newer pair but I 'm the only one who knows it's there. Most comfortable pants ever for working and bending they stretch in all the right places. My husband and I even wear them skiing with an under layer. Fabulous secure pockets for multitool, phone and wallet. Never put them in the dryer and you will get many happy years with them. They are expensive but worth the money. However, what I really love about these pants are the ankle straps and the ability to cinch them around your boots. These trousers were the reason for me to fall in love with the Fjällräven brand. I 've used them extensively while camping, tenting, hiking and- yes- winter mountaineering. I absolutely love the design, materials and functionality. Those were my first pair of hiking pants with pre- bent knees and I felt the difference in comfort and freedom of movement. In hot summer days, they might feel a bit heavy, so the ventilations are essential to keep you cool. I can appreciate the front pockets as well, as they have enough depth and are easy to reach on the go. My pair is ageing quite well and has no issues with the durability even after extensive use and washing cycles- the color on the G- 1000 does start to fade a bit, but it looks even cooler that way. Overall these are one of my favorite trousers. For the winter mountain, they are a bit baggy and may get in the way of your crampons, so I switched to a pair of Bergtagen Stretch for that. Still, they can do the job and will not let you down. For all other seasons, they are unbeatable.

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.

Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

Color is sharp and beautiful. These are wonderful hiking pants which I hope are not discontinued as they are well made and hold up in the washer and dryer. The material is thick enough to use in from spring through fall. Have pairs in different colors and highly recommend when it is a challenge to find pants that you can wear for a few years. Do not know why companies make clothes that we have to throw away after a few months or less than a year. Again, this is a quality made hiking pants and you will enjoy wearing them when you hike, take long walks or want something casual and fashionable.

I just love these pants so much! The high rise fit and the waistband shape/function is basically perfect. Would love a thigh pocket, but I 'll let it slide because I love them so much! Would love this cut in a more durable fabric for cooler temps, too!

Straight forward wind breaker pants with some added insulation. Packs a lot of warmth for not being baggy and hugs tighter to the leg without being constricting or feeling like running tights, this allows you to layer thermals underneath it for the really cold runs. I found it perfect for winter and spring runs and will buy some again if I ever wear these ones out.

I bought this a few weeks ago and these are my fave pants ever. Baltimore has been unseasonably cold and these have been my go to for walking or running with my dog everyday. If I ’ m going slow I ’ ll wear fleece pants. But if I ’ m moving these keep me warm and help me flow.

This is my second pair of these pants. I think they are great. I use them all winter on mountain treks. Very comfortable and when it gets colder, I just layer with my merino wool underneath. I 'm 5- 7 '' and weigh 160#. And the mediums fit great.

Predominantly a cold weather running pant, though I have used it for nordic skiing as well. I find the pant performs exactly as I hoped, meaning that I can run in above freezing temperatures without overheating, but do n't freeze at- 10C. WHERE ARE THE NEW COLORS?!?! These are the most absolutely amazing pants on the market and I 'm getting nervous that there are no new fun colors this season. It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. They are crazy lightweight and breathable but also water resistant. They keep me cool in 100+ degree weather and also do great over a baselayer in the winter. They are stretchy enough but also hold their shape. OR, you better warn us if these ever get discontinued so I can buy 10 more pairs.

These pants are amazing. Very comfortable, easily packable, they look great. They are extremely comfortable to walk in due to the combination of stretch material. Can ’ t imagine a better design than this. I haven ’ t had any zipper issues as I ’ ve seen others mentioning. I can only imagine that they are trying to keep the weight down with lighter zipper material. I ’ ll be purchasing another pair of these for sure.

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.
