Easy to dress up or down with the seam down the leg. I will warn people that they do run long as it is the perfect length on me as someone who is 5 ’ 7- 5 ’ 8 and usually between regular and long lengths( got a R length). This is my first free people purchase. They are very oversized. For reference I am 5 ’ 5 and around 145- 150lbs and I ordered a medium. I wanted the oversized look, but I could ’ ve gone with a small. I think because these are not meant to be high waisted, the waist is a lot bigger than it normally would be for a medium. I do have to pull them up really high and tie them tight with the drawstring, otherwise they will drag on the ground( So, good for tall girlies!). The fabric is light weight, which is what I wanted for the summer time. I also like how they look, just wish the fit was a bit better. Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. Immediately after taking them out of the package, the fabric feels like your standard workout material, but it's heavy and looks so flattering on. I love that they have weight to them as a trouser or a jean would. They sit so nice on my waist and do n't roll down. However, the length. I am 5' 5 '' and they are super long, but have styled them with some sneakers that have a platform or give me a little lift and it's not a problem. I noticed the model in the photos was 5'10 '' and they 're just about touching the floor, so that's a great representation of how long they are. I 'm 5' 5 and they bunch up at my ankles, which I kinda love. I 'm 200 pounds and wear a size Large in all bottoms. I usually order size medium if it's oversized. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with size L. I 'm really glad I did! The size is perfectly oversized-- not so big that they 're uncomfortable or unstylish, but not tight at all either. The only thing is these are not pink like they look in the pics. They 're more like a lilac gray. Very pretty still, just did n't expect the color to be so off.

ACG sizing being all over again especially with these. They started offering XXS in some colors but when I got it, it was not available. Though I did size down one size it is very long in length. You may have to get it hemmed or just fold it inward and pull the ties above your ankles. If you go down two sizes you may have an issue with the crotch riding up. Overall it is a thick and heavy sweatpant that's great for the cold.
