I ’ m surprised there are bad reviews. I had the 4s and I actually like these more. Since the reviews said to size up, I got both my normal size( 7 1/2) and 8. The 7 1/2 fits so much better! I walked around my house in the 8s and they loose around my ankle—My foot was lifting out of the shoe a tiny bit. There ’s a little more compression than the 4s, but I actually really like that for running on grass. So I recommend keeping your normal size unless you have a wide foot. I don ’ t consider my foot narrow, I think it ’s pretty normal.

Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. [ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go- to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks- leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore- Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.

This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I have relatively wide feet and after reading the reviews, I decided to size up. To be precise, I measure 23cm so technically a 6, and after going up a whole size, I found that they ’ ll be okay to wear with thinner socks( especially once I break them in). If you want to wear chunky socks, I ’ d probably go even bigger.

Perfect fit and soooooooo comfortable. I go in the mountains everywhere with this boot. Because there are not a lot of seams, there is few, if any, places that could run my foot. I have clocked many mile in this!

I got these boots for a trip to Iceland and ordered a half a size up from my normal 8. 5. They were really, really narrow. I then ordered the size up but those were too big and I sent them back. I stuck it out and after a week these boots fit perfectly to my foot and I wear them every day. I ’ m now looking for some Spring/ Summer Sorels I ’ ll be able to wear every day.

I generally wear a size 6. 5 in Sorel boots but decided I would be better off with a half size larger due to reviews. They fit perfectly with my thick cotton socks. I am so glad Sorel got it right this go around with this version of the sneaker. The prior versions had this strange intense curve in the toe portion( perhaps that was designed to repel water during steps?) compared to an older model that is no longer available. The toe box is roomy too and the waterproof feature is great for both PNW rainy days and wet days here in the Midwest. My only criticism would be they are quite flat/smooth on the bottom so watch out for ice.

Good replacement for Vaya
I bought this boot about a month ago to replace a previous model I had from Salomon. It was the closest to the Vaya. Feel is great overall, however the size is about 1/2 size too small. Ordered same size my old pair. That is the only complaint. I was a 6. 5 in the Vaya and believe a 7 in these would have been better. They are super light weight, rugged, super water resistant too

I bought these on Friday, hiked a hilly/rocky 3. 4mi on Saturday. My feet felt stabilized, but not restricted. I 'm recouping medial/lateral/posterior tendon issues in one foot and it does n't even hurt after wearing these! Very happy with my purchase.

After years of being told I need arch support, in spite of the fact my Dad was rejected from service during WWII because of flat footedness and myself trending the same I finally said Enough and gave these a try, first the low cuts and then these. Unbelievable difference. No arch pain or calf pain, fewer leg cramps and way more spring in my 70 year old step. I 've only wore these a few times but so far I really like them. I may have got a half size too big but they are spacious, flat and proivide lots of room for my toes. The traction on the bottom feels really good as well. I had ordered the low top to see if they would replace my trail glove but unfortunately those ones seem to have a much higher arch support than these mids. These ones are much more neutral. So if you are like me and want a more barefoot feel then these may work even if the low ankle wrapts did not feel good for you. I wear a 10 in some of their shoes and I got a 10. 5 in these.

These boots are fantastic! I had to get a good pair of boots that would allow me to be outside, standing on concrete for 1 1/2- 2 hours and keep my feet warm. I also did NOT want a huge pair of clunky boots. These fit the bill. They are light weight, yet surprisingly warm, and have thick soles to help insulate your feet from the cold ground. I wore them all last week for work, and even in the sub zero temps of MN, they kept my feet warm! I would recommend these boots, and next season will buy another color!
