It ’s so hard to find longer bike shorts( for those of us with thick thighs) that have pockets, do not cause sausage leg, and don ’ t roll at the waist while still giving some tummy control. Great quality for uniform shorts. I measured our son ’s waist according to your chart and selected size YSM. The adjustable waist left a bulk of fabric on either side that wasn ’ t able to be smoothed out. The inch difference between YXS and YSM was huge for my son who is slender. He does not seem to sweat more than usual in them as I know some materials can cause that. After two months the threading is still solid and secure. It also seems to work well around my sons shape as he is slender. The black is still dark and has not faded. Overall I really like these shorts for him and hope they can last for his younger sibling.
