Mats will separate on top layer even if your barefoot they just don't last, foam is ports and cut from bottom, total life to expect is 2 years or less. I own 3000 sq feet of these and they are garbage.

Great Product, After It Airs Out
My daughter has a few of these mats and uses them for gymnastics. She is 13. When the mats arrived the smell was strong. I called the company and they returned my call quickly and advised that the smell is normal and part of the manufacturing process. We left the mats outside in our garage....with the door open for days and the smell went away. We also washed them a few times which helped.

Awesome Mat!
I bought this a month ago for my kids who wrestle. I use it myself for Beachbody (MM100) workouts and couldn’t be happier. My knees & legs thank me on cardio days.
