The description of the rod on the site is completely wrong (thank goodness) It said 7'10" MH extra fast, but it's a 7'1" M action extra fast taper, which is what I was looking for. The rod itself is great. It's super light and the hook-set action is perfect. It's a little thick around the base of the rod where it meets the reel seat. It's also textured and is ribbed, makes it easy to grip when wet which is good. I think I'm going to order it in a ML stiffness for finesse applications
