Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing features Let's cut to the chase... They are hockey pucks and my son loves them for shot after shot and stick/puck handling skills. I really just want to comment on how well they blend into the grass when he does happen to miss the net. Heavy enough to sink just enough that I don't see them on the lawn mower yet light enough that the blades of the more deck connect just perfectly! Z Chara can't match the speed with which the mower rockets these through the yard. Now to figure out how toExplain to my neighbor the holes in their siding! :)Ok just kidding. Great product but a definite mowing hazard. That is all.

I haven't played hockey since the early 60's, but I still use pucks around the shop to put under transmissions and other vehicle components to keep them from rocking while I'm working. I keep a couple pucks in my land surveying equipment in case I need to hammer on an aluminum survey monument, I hold the puck on top of the aluminum cap and hammer on the puck, doesn't mess up the cap. They make great rubber feet for shop equipment, weld 3" steel pads to the bottom of the legs and glue pucks to the bottom of the pads. I once was given a 1" thick grinding wheel with a 3" center hole. My grinder had a 1" shaft so I used my centering head on my combination square to mark the center and drilled a 1" hole in the puck on my drill press. Put the puck in the 3" grinder wheel hole and installed it on my grinder. I needed to bolt a cast iron frame to a concrete floor so I used hockey pucks with holes drilled as pads between the cast iron frame and the concrete to keep from over-stressing the cast iron. Dick's pucks have many uses at a great price.
