For starters, since no one shows the size differences online, understand that each reel is the same size in diameter as it is the actual spool width that is different which is different then most of the Asian reel makers market their round reels. As for the reels functions; this reel casts, as well as most of Abu's Revo low profile line but the internal mechanisms, are much simpler and I would say more reliable because of the lack of coil springs in the clutch system. My only complaint is the same that I have with the entire Ambassador line and being that there are too many parts (I am referring to the side plates) that have too many screws holding them on and they should be checked often especially after a lot of riding time in a petroleum-powered vehicle and that replacement parts are hard to come by in the U.S..
