It works, I think the people who broke this rod just doesn’t know how to fish with graphite, I have caught pike and bass on this pole and it isn’t that it did bad with them it’s just that it did average or just below average there is not a lot of sensitivity to work with and I’d say there is about an average amount of strength to it, All in all it’s a good rod for a kid not so great for anyone else
