Great Rod!

I own a medium and a medium heavy Abu Garcia Vengence for 3 years now. I am still using the same rods. The rod is solid and very good in every way. I pulled in a lot of 4 to 6 pounder bass. The rod is worth the money.

Ain’t Great

I’ve only had this rod for about a month and it snapped today from a cast. Yes I literally just cast and it snapped, probably about 8” inches or so snapped off. Not worth the money...

Good Rod

I purchased this rod halfway through September to use with abu Garcia black max baitcasing reel. 20 lb braid. Overall great set up. 24 ton graphite makes the rod very sensitive to feeling what your lure is feeling on the other end. Only problem I have why I give 3 stars is because my rod started to crack and paint was chipping off after only a few uses I exchanged it for a new one and hopefully this one lasts longer than a little over a month. If not for that it would be a 5 star rod. Good for the price.

Beware

I have used this rod for the past two seasons and have been sort of pleased with it. The rod itself has done the job, but the line guides are poor. The tip guide lost it's insert and began tearing up the line. I went back to Dicks and found another Vengence rod with the same problem. Not good.
