Zipper Broke On Day One

I got these gloves for Christmas from my family. They were for early morning cold runs. The glove zipper got stuck the first day and separated. On day two the zipper came completely off track and split in half. It can’t be fixed. Because I don’t have a proof of purchase action heat will not replace it. I understand the policy, this is just a buyer beware. The zippers are cheap and now my battery falls out when I run. I wear a hair elastic around my wrist to keep it in.
