Her comments, Rechargable battery lasted 15 minutes less than advertised on first use in low heat mode in a 68°F room. The loops that help you pull the gloves off, although genius, should be a dayglo color so they can be easily seen in the dark. She will fabric paint the two pairs purchased.

Great All-around Winter Recreation Gloves/mittens

They work great for my Nordic skiing pursuits in temps down to the teens. For subzero temps, they don't have sufficient insulation to keep my Reynaud's syndrome digits warm. For everything else, they are exactly what I need. In fact, I have turned them off when skiing because I did not need the extra heat during aerobic activity. I haven't worn any other gloves since buying them.

Need Some Modification

They don't keep my hands warm because there is no heat on the inside of the glove which rest against cold trekking poles. They are only heated on the top outside of the glove. My thumbs stay cold too, even though there is heat in them too.
