I heard that Adidas lost the rights to the DFB so I had to get this jersey. I’m glad I was able to use a voucher on it. I’m 6-foot and about 238#s with a bit of a dad bod. I ordered the XL based on my chest measurement of 46 inches. Even though this is described as a slim fit, it actually fits rather comfortably, not tight at all around the mid section and the length is perfect just past my waist without being baggy. The material, however, is odd. It’s extremely see through. So much that I’m definitely going to have to wear a light colored base layer because of how sheer the material is, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel thin, flimsy, or insubstantial in the slightest. I love it and I hate it equally at the same time. The graphic and chest crests are great. I wish the country colors were on the outside of the collar, but that’s no biggie. All in all, I would rather have this jersey than let the opportunity pass me by. I’m in California, so I’ll be able to wear it practically year-round, whenever I’m feeling that World Cup fever or National pride or those random spirit/jersey days at work.
