A Solid Sequel
The AE1 style wise and fashion wise is better than the 2. However the shoe is lighter and breathable. The lacing system is also a lot better than the 1.

I have purchased dozens of basketball sneakers in the last 15 years and no sneaker comes close to this gem with respect to comfortability, traction, ankle support, and weight. I’ve been a fan of Dame’s older sneakers and have been looking for the next great sneaker for some time. I purchased LeBron’s 20’s, and while they are fashionable and light weight, they are terrible for hoops as they have no ankle support and do not keep your feet locked in place. With my recent disappointment with sneakers, I was not sure what to expect with these sneakers, but I was happily surprised. These sneakers have every thing you want in a hooping sneaker: they have elite traction; your feet will lock in place for quick movement and sudden change of direction; ankle support; light weight; fashionable; and maybe the most impressive feature is that they don’t need to be broken in.
