Sized Up 1/2 Size And Toe Area Still Pretty Tight

I am size 8.5 in Mens, bought size 9 Mens. Fit was snug, toe area is too tight even though i have narrow feet. After a 2 hour practice, my toes were hurting. The big toe was purple and pinky toe hurt
