Bad Ankle Protection & Support

No support around the ankle and anterior distal tibia as there's no tongue and no collar. The sneakers look cool until my kid fractured the anterior distal tibia during AAU game. Love the look but not the protection design.

Fix The Sizing Issue, Good Shoe

The harden 9 is a evolution on the 8. The sleeve is easier to get in and the shoes break in easily. The materials will show signs of flex but other than that this is the second best harden behind the harden one. Two issues the shoe is extremely narrow and i had to go a full size down. I posted a 2001 adidas shoe next to the harden 9 the 2001 shoe is a 12 while the harden is a size 11. The shoes should beca whole inch off but they are barely a half inch. Adidas use a different last that follows US metric not German.

These Are Straight Fire!

The icy blue colorway is exceptional. They look great on feet. If you go true to size it will be a bit snug.(like all basketball sneakers) However toe box is not narrow and I didn't feel like I needed to size up. The price is right.

It Don’t Make Him Faster/better But He Loves Them

Got these b/c my stepson (12) started in an Adidas league and he was adamant on matching the brand! Shoe is heavier than the KDs he had but he’s happy and if they weren’t comfortable he would never tell! They look better on the foot than the box! He plays the same and jumps the same. So if you want a shoe to wear or play basketball I’m sure they would be great! It’s the same price as most of these shoes out now just wish they would come with a scholarship already!
