These cleats have nice spikes out of the box and my son thought they were comfortable. The major con of these cleats is that the spikes wear down quickly when used to walk on pavement back and forth between the car and the field. My son’s pair has almost no spike left in the front of the cleat after only half of the spring season. I suggest getting the molded version which is likely much more durable or have your kid take them on and off at the field.
