School Shoes That Won't Last Long
This shoe comes in fun colors and fits my son great; he says it's very comfortable and they are easy enough for him to put on by himself. However, the first 2 dark blue pairs we bought online had a defect/dent on the inner part of the toe. We finally exchanged for a pair in-store, the lighter blue ones. The fabric of the toe is not reinforced with any type of rubber coating on top, so they have been worn for ~3 weeks and already starting to show wear. The fabric easily gets black/dirt spots on it from the school blacktop playground. It does come mostly clean with soapy water, but brushing the fabric has resulted in pilling. Overall, I think the shoe looks and feels nice, but the durability is low quality and we will likely be replacing these sooner than we'd hoped. Disappointing.
