Disappointed In The New Adidas Beckenbauer Pants

I recently bought two pairs of the "Beckenbauer" pants, and the quality is honestly disappointing. I own a pair from a few years ago, and the difference is night and day. They clearly cheapened the design: the elastic waistband is less than half the size of the older version, so be prepared to constantly pull your pants up. The pleat on the pant leg is barely visible now, and the overall fit just doesn’t match the original style. At this point, it feels like you’re paying for the Beckenbauer name, not the quality or design that used to make these pants great. I really wish adidas would bring back the previous style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought matching pants and jacket in Germany in 1970 and they still fit well but the zippers have worn out and had to install a waist string to help the elastic that was straining to keep them in place. Fabric feels the same and fit is nice.
