Rated 5 out of 5 by from The original and best weightlifting shoes on the market I've been lifting for quite a few years now. Heavy squats, presses, cleans and snatches are all part of my regular routine. These shoes bring a great amount of stability to my lifts. Take care of them and they will last you for years. I've had my obnoxiously bright red pair for around 3 years now and they still look like they're new. I got these one's as a gift for my brother, of course he loves them. These are not for running, skipping rope or any other activity other than your lifts. Worth every penny. If you are serious about your lifts invest into these, you won't regret it. Wish they would make a classic black base with white stripes though, that would be sick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too snug for me 3 stars for fit and comfort, but 5 starts for quality and styleBought Adipower based on great reviews from multiple online sources. Construction quality and style were as expected for almost $200 sneakers. My issue was with the sizing. I tried both 12 and 13, and found both to be unbearably tight. I wear 12 in shoes and sneakers across many brands including Adidas, so I was surprised that 13s were still too tight. Training shoes are meant to be snug, but these felt more like pliers on my feet! I ordered Nike Romaleos 2 (also well reviewed) online and on sale at Dicks and am hoping I won't have the same sizing issue as with Adipowers, which i'm returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New to this I bought these shoes because squatting is SO difficult for me and I wanted to help myself in anyway I could. I believe these shoes are helping and/or will eventually help. But, squatting is still really hard for me--knees, hips, all of it. I'm committed to mastering squats though so these shoes will play a big part. I was confused about sizing because of conflicting reviews so I went with Adidas recommendation. For some reason they recommend a men's 9.5 for a women with 10.5 feet. Usually, I would wear an 8.5 for my 10.5 feet (2 sizes difference is standard). Anyway, I have a 9.5 and with regular sport socks they are perfect. I have regular width (for women) feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price; better than the Powerlift 3 I first purchased the Powerlift 3s. I liked them all right, but they were beyond uncomfortable, especially in extended squat sessions. A month in, the metal ring around which the strap wraps broke. Adidas was great with the return process, even expediting my replacement product. I went with the AdiPowers instead, and I'm glad I did. They are much more comfortable than the PL3s, more aesthetically pleasing, and I prefer the slightly higher drop. I noticed the biggest improvement on Oly movements, especially the jerk. The AdiPowers feel better built than the PL3s, and I would definitely recommend them despite the substantial price increase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stable lifting product Depending on what your goals are should influence your buying decision. If your goal is to lift with more confidence and stability, this is a great product. If your goal is to pick up stuff in the back hard, throw it over your shoulder walk around and dump it somewhere, you may lose your confidence in your "backyard shoes". These shoes are great for Olympic lifting. There are certain parts of my lift where I feel more planted on the ground, primarily at the top. The shoes fit great, they are easy to wear from the locker room to the floor, however they make warming up on the treadmill a little challenging. If you purchase these shoes, you will be very happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes! These babies are as hard as a rock. Like I could throw them at someone's head and they would most likely knock out. That's exactly what I want in a pair of squat shoes. They also look super clean. However, I did have to exchange for half a size up. I am a 9 in women's but I had to get an 8 in men's in these because in the 7 1/2's my big toe was getting crushed at the front. I understand these are supposed to be very fitted but that was definitely not the right fitting. But it seems like I am the only one with the problem of them being too small so I might just have very long, thin feet. Altogether, these shoes are a must have if you squat very often.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoes for a good price. If you look around on other sites, these shoes are always $200. I got these with a Dick's code for $170 with shipping. Can't beat that anywhere else.I've been doing Wendler 5/3/1 for seven months and these are the first squat shoes I have bought. I can tell they are definite quality. Sole does not compress at all, and the shoes are snug. Exactly the way you want it. Be sure to buy true to size. I usually wear 10 or 10.5 and bought 10 in these. They are snug, but that's how they should be. I could have gotten away with 10.5 (the toebox is a little tight in the 10's), but the shoes aren't meant to be comfortable. Also the reason I marked as low comfort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wondering if I wasted my money.... I bit the bullet, and got these shoes based on countless awesome reviews. And they have been awesome for my workouts. I don't think I can ever squat without weightlifting shoes again. However, after just a few weeks of use (3x week) I noticed the heel on the left shoe wearing down. This isn't typically a problem I have with any of my shoes and I was under the impression the weightlifting shoes were built tough. I haven't seen this problem mentioned elsewhere but it would e nice if replacement neoprene soles were available.
