This shoe can do it all. I’ve been wanting a full slab of lightstrike pro but without rods or plates for training rather than racing. I would have loved the Adios 9 but that’s not available in the US. The EVO SL has a higher stack height than the Adios 9 but otherwise is similar but for longer distances. The narrow midsole prevents this from being an overly stable shoe, so I might not take it for greater than 13 mile runs, but I’ve heard from others who did a marathon in them and had no issues. This will be my primary training shoe for 4-13.1 mile distances, especially tempo. Maybe not Zone 2 runs since it naturally encourages speed. Also, I thought the stripes on these (and the Adios Pro 4) looked a little silly when they first were released but they are gorgeous in person.
