Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoe for trail hiking... The shoe is light, and breathable... feels food on the feet, and isn't cumbersome in any way. Dirt does get in, but so does oxygen, which is more important to me considering the fact that I hike when it's hot and I can wash shoes and socks and much prefer to have comfortable feet during my hikes.I'm not so much worried about my feet getting wet either, I mean, we are comprised of a majority water. I mean, that's akin to complaining about getting sand on you while you're at the beach.I'm wondering why people assume a shoe named "Breeze" would have liners or be built from heavy, non-breathable materials?Well, at least the few, more astute, amongst us "get it".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light airy shoes Size runs large but shoes are very light. Did not care for open mesh. Shoe does not have a liner and you can see through the shoes into your socks and the socks can get very dirty depending on trail. Soles are tough enough for a moderate difficult hike.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sturdy and comfortable shoes, but beware of the mesh I purchased these shoes because I wanted a sturdy pair of hiking/running/training shoes that I could use anywhere and the price was fantastic. What I failed to see from the pictures online was that the mesh portion is literally transparent so you really need to make sure you bundle the purchase with some lightweight show toe socks. This purchase could have been more satisfying had Dick's recommended the socks along with the shoes at bundled price. Now, I have the "hassle" of finding water-proof shoe toe socks just to break the shoes in. Missed opportunity on Dick's part, IMO.
