Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice shoe, the fit is very good, traction, stability and durability are superior. This is the third iteration of Adidas Barricade tennis shoes I have purchased. ObviouslyI like what Adidas is doing. Many tennis shoes in the past did no have the support, comfort, and durability that this model and the Barricade line consistently have.It is very easy for me to recommend these shoes. They do seem to run maybe a half size smaller than some other shoe brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Barricades that breathe at a great price! I've put about 6 hours on these and the only gripes I have are that the arch feels to be a bit forward under my foot and they're a little firmer than I like. None of which I notice when I'm playing, which is great, but I'm not inclined to lounge around in them for long periods of time on my feet after a game. I don't see any unusual wear or tearing on the uppers and they feel pretty fast. I'm coming from an old pair of Head Nitro Pros (aka Nzzzo).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this court shoe - my second pair I use this for paddleball played on a hard cement court - very abusive on soles. These shoes are tough (outlasted any other shoe I have used by a long shot), comfortable and good looking. For me the size chart was accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my all time favorite tennis sneakers! Don't be fooled by the low price. The Adidas Barricade Club is one of my all time favorite tennis sneakers. It is definitely the best "mid priced" tennis sneaker that I ever had. I actually bought 3 pairs (silver, white and black) because I wanted extras for the future before they discontinue them. The big pros? Great style... Low profile. This makes you feel more connected with the ground. It is also a con because it is gonna have less cushion but the sneaker is still very comfortable... Flexible & light weight! These are the attributes for speed in my opinion. This is a true tennis speed sneaker even though it isn't marketed as speed sneaker. The flexible upper is sweet but it still provides nice stability. I can cut on a dime and never worry about twisting an ankle. The weight of a size 9 is only 12.8 ounces. That is definitely light weight. I actually move faster and quicker in these sneaker than my way more expensive other tennis sneakers... Ventilation! It is the most breathable tennis sneaker that I have ever worn. Keeps your feet cool and more comfortable and therefore you perform better and move faster... Durability is solid like typical Barricades. Con? If I had to be real picky, it doesn't have a removable insole. I don't think this "needs" an aftermarket insole especially because it is still comfortable. Also if you like the light weight speedy sneaker, you really don't want to add extra weight with a heavier insole that would also raise your foot higher off the ground. If you really want to an aftermarket insole, I would recommend going up a half size because this doesn't have a removable insole. I have 2 pairs at size 9.... And I also have a pair at size 9.5 with a Dr. Scholl's Athletic gel sneaker insoles that gives me a more snug feel, more comfort and more height but the sneaker weighs 14.85 ounces now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit After having many issues with other competitors' tennis shoes, I decided to go back to Adidas and tried on a pair of Barricade Clubs. All I can say is that I'm in love. Having feet with a size in between a medium and wide, it was very difficult to find tennis shoes that would be comfortable and durable at the same time. I believe the Clubs only came in medium width but to my surprise, it was just the right width for my feet. These shoes are so comfortable that I didn't have to break them in. Bought them, wore them, and won my match the same day. I bought the black color and even in our tropical climate, my feet never felt clammy and my socks remained dry because of proper ventilation. I've worn these shoes in six matches in two weeks and they haven't worn out one bit. Other big brand competitors' tennis shoes started wearing after the first week. I play on har-tru and the Clubs just provide enough grip needed for transitions yet allows me to slide when needed. The only thing I changed to add more comfort was to replace the insoles with a pair of sport insoles with gel in them made by some famous doctor. It made a the comfortable Clubs even more comfortable to my aging feet and the rest of my body. I hope Adidas doesn't change the geometry of these tennis shoes. I would hate to go back to the other brands' inferior shoes.
