Son Loves His New Nycfc Jersey.

Nothing else to say but Adidas wants its 50 characters.

I Got A L And It Wore Like A M.

It’s a slim fit but even so it shouldn’t have been that tight. I usually wear L for jerseys and all my other adidas jerseys are L but somehow this particular one ran smaller and tighter. I tried returning it but they didn’t have my size to exchange with which was disappointing.

Like Wearing A Plastic Bag!

Let me start with the positives, because credit where credit is due: the design is beautiful. The colors pop, the stitching is great, and the neckline fits perfectly. On a hanger—or in a photo—this jersey is a 10/10. Now… let’s talk about the “recycled polyester.” I live in New York City. Today it’s 27°F. I put this jersey on and within minutes felt like I had wrapped myself in a lightly fashionable plastic bag. I was sweating almost immediately. Not “workout sweat.” Not “I’m moving around” sweat. Just… existing sweat. I then made the mistake of wearing it to the gym. Big mistake. Huge. I spent the entire workout overheating in a way that was deeply uncomfortable and not athletic at all. Think sauna cosplay, not performance apparel. Would I have returned it immediately?Absolutely. Did I customize it with my name, making it non-returnable? Also yes. So now I own a very pretty, very well-made jersey that doubles as a personal heat chamber. Lesson learned: recycled polyester may be good for the planet, but for me, it feels like wearing a plastic bag. Buy it for the look. Do not buy it if you plan to move, sweat, or exist indoors.
