I am 48 years old and I am a huge fan of the retro styling of these shoes, but with the modern tech and materials they are even better than the shoes from my younger days
Jojo
Great shoes! Love the style, comfort and durability.

These sneakers look really great, however, they feel like cheap plastic. Definitely not worth the $100 price. If they were a lower price, I would have kept them.

Retro Style with Modern Flair The SL 72 RS reimagines a ’70s running classic. The mix of suede overlays, nylon (or waffle knit/nylon depending on the version), and that slim, low-profile silhouette gives serious vintage energy. It’s stylish in a way that’s not trying too hard — it works with jeans, joggers, or shorts. Lightweight Comfort These feel noticeably lighter than many casual sneakers. The original “Super Light” ethos shines through. The EVA midsole adds cushioning without making the shoe bulky. adidas KR Good Build and Materials Suede overlays (especially on toe‑cap and heel), synthetic or textile lining, suede + leather or synthetic mixed uppers are used in a way that feels premium for their price tier. The rubber outsole has good grip and wear characteristics. Style Versatility Because of the clean retro design and many colorways, you can blend them into many outfits. They aren’t loud unless you want them to be — some colorways pop, others are more muted. Good Price‑Value For what you get — style, comfort, heritage — many buyers feel these deliver strong value. They're not premium “performance” shoes in terms of cushioning or support, but for casual wear, they punch above their weight.
