Wide brim for sun protection and zipper pocket for small stuff on the side. Very utilitarian, I like the hat's simple style as well. Not overly flashy. Only gripe is its one size fits all; maybe I have a fat head but its snug. It is adjustable, but I'd rather it be a little larger to pull tight. Still fits and overall I'm happy with it.
