Great length shin guard for my 11 year old daughter BUT the straps were too short to go around her calf. We got size small because she fits in the small size according to her height. The large size would've been enormous for her and there's no medium. If only the straps weren't shockingly short. She's muscular but nothing crazy. Fit build but not overweight. She's actually a bit small for her age. We ordered two sets because the first set had two different size straps on each shin guard. Dick's returns sent a new pair (thank you!) but sadly while the second pair had straps of the same size, they barely fit around her calf. Bummed because most shin guards these days seem super short or they don't have straps and this one was perfect size...but returned because the strap length was terrible.
