Valve Leaked Out Of The Box, New. Air Lasts 30 Min

Valve leaked immediately upon airing, the day it was received. Lasts 30 min before complete deflation. Found leak by placing in water. I ordered this as a display for middle school & to give to the team captain at end of the season. I ended up keeping the ball just to display & put electrical tape over the valve…slowed the leak, but obviously didn’t stop it. It looks ok as a display, but c’mon…it’s not meant to just sit there. Ended up having to use a new Mitre Delta Evo as the captain’s gift.
