I love these shorts so much I bought 2 more pairs in different colors. They are loose fitting which is great for those hot days. Great for walking, running, lounging or doing errands.

Good Length And Generous Fit

I love a soccer short v. a running short for the longer length, and these fit the bill for me at 5'4" and hitting at mid-upper thigh. Note that the side split is higher than you'd think so there's lots of room for movement, and you don't see it when standing straight. I usually wear a Large and had to size down to a Medium, so these run large in my opinion. The fabric is a bit thicker, more like a warm-up pant, so no show-through whatsoever. And since the questions don't even mention exercise (??), I'll say here that that's what I use them for - strength training, treadmill, rower, etc -- and a ton of heavy yardwork! A great go-to for all-around wear!
