Great Compression Gear. Why Is It "Women's"???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of those rare times when women's sizing is the same as men's sizing. I bought these because I really liked the previous Adizero Control shorts I purchased previously in men's sizing... and also because I absolutely love this colorway! But why only offer it as "women's wear"?!? Slap a thin liner in the front and MARKET IT FOR EVERYONE! These look and feel great with great muscle support! Initially, I thought I needed to size-up because of women's sizing, but in this case my usual size (medium) fit better. Adidas does a lot of things right. But one thing that adidas could do better is to brand all clothing options as gender-neutral and adjust the sizing (to EU sizing numbers) to help streamline purchases for everyone! If I want the red, I want the red. Seriously, why should my biological gender have anything to do with it? Men should order their usual size. Women? Not sure. But in reality, it should not be so difficult to know for certain.

Why Not Offer Them For Men, Women And Everyone?

The opacity of the textiles are perfect--a rarity. The stretch is a bit lacking in compressive functionality: they could be a bit more snug and offer more targeted muscle support. The waistband is, naturally, a bit too high for me... because these were marketed to women, who have been socially conditioned to hike their pants up. Seriously, why not just add a liner to them... and a roll-down waistband... to accommodate all genders? It's a bit perplexing. No red for all the guys, I guess? I don't understand the insistence on banal colors for "men" and vibrant colors for "women". Men and gender non-binary want to stand out on their training activity as well.
