I recently had a frustrating experience with Dick’s Sporting Goods while purchasing a Christmas gift for my daughter. I placed an order with a delivery window of Dec 11-13, but despite a shipping label being created by FedEx, the item never shipped. I contacted customer service in hopes of resolving the issue, but unfortunately, I received little empathy or understanding for the situation. Instead of offering a solution, I was told I could cancel the order, which wouldn't help me get the gift in time for Christmas. I was then advised to place a new order, but that wouldn’t arrive by the holiday either. When I asked for expedited shipping, they told me it would cost an additional $25. When I explained this wasn’t a viable option, the final suggestion was for me to drive over an hour to pick up the item at a store. I’ve always trusted Dick’s for quality products, but this experience left a lot to be desired. Customer service was unhelpful and lacking in empathy, and the overall handling of the situation felt more like an inconvenience than a solution. I won’t be shopping here again anytime soon
