So Far So Good....
You might think that the title is underwhelming, but let me explain some background. My daughter plays on a very competitive soccer club team. In the last 12 months she has worn through 3 pairs of soccer boots (1 Puma, 1 Nike, 1 New Balance). None of the prior pairs were cheap or budget models. However, they all developed the same exact issue - the plastic molded sole began to separate from the upper mesh/sock material particularly at the toe box. It was not because he toes were pushing agains the seam, but due to rubbing from cutting, passing, and striking the soccer ball at practices and games. So far she had had several weeks of practices and games with these shoes on a variety of surfaces. To date, no worn edges. These seem to be a higher quality product with better QA on the seam and weld than others. While I wish there were manufacturer still sewing the seam for these types of shoes (particularly the higher end boots), I will settle for welds or glued seams that last longer than a few weeks.
