Like wearing a piece of history on your feet. These adidas Japan shoes are a reissue of a 1964 trainer that appeared in a catalogue for that year's global sporting event held in Japan. Although they stay as close as possible to the original low-profile design, they do have design details that set them apart — like a double-stitched T-toe.

These are seriously comfortable right out of the box. The black-on-black look with the white stripes gives them a clean, elevated feel that works with almost everything. I also love that they came with an extra pair of white laces so you can switch up the vibe depending on the look you’re going for. Super lightweight, supportive, and easy to wear all day. Definitely one of those sneakers that looks good and feels even better once you put them on.

I’ve been waiting for these to be re-introduced and the price was great

I love the print paired with the red laces. I’ve already wore them twice

The Japan shoes are supper comfortable for everyday walking. Not only do they fit well but they are light and breathable while providing a good amount of support and cushion. I wouldn't recommend them as a workout or running shoe. But if you want a nice shoe to throw on for errands or a cute fashion tennis shoe 10/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for my fiancee and she loved them. She wore them walking around Japan and even with the low profile, said they were still comfortable. Dope look too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the low profile and minimalist look of this shoe. The soft pink is just right, not overpowering. The comfort is great for running quick errands, not for long hours of standing or walking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. This is more comfortable than the SL72 which I also have. SL72 is narrower on the toe area than the Japan shoes. And the leather is so soft that it does not feel stiff compared to SL72. I am size 6 and a half on SL72 but I am glad that I purchased a size 7 on Japan shoes… I am planning to buy another in the green color. It is also a plus that this shoe is easier to clean.

Light shoe with a nice design. The snake look gives a luxury vibe

Loving the style of this shoe. Would’ve rated them a 5 star however the shoe runs small. I’ll be exchanging for half a size bigger. May need a full size bigger because of how narrow the shoes are.

First day I wore them, I started seeing black strips peeling away from the top of the shoe! That part of the shoe never touches the ground! I didn’t hit the shoe or scrape the shoe. Love the shoe though, too much trouble to go through and exchange them since I ordered them online.
