Samba's Are Fashionable, Not Comfortable.

While the Samba shoes are not the most uncomfortable option, they are more focused on fashion. For comfort, I prefer the Gazelles or the Spezial, though I still own a pair of Sambas. I have Morton's neuroma and flat feet, so I typically need to wear insoles with all of my shoes, and these are no exception. In terms of sizing, I am a true size 7.5, which is what I wear in Hoka, Vionic, Anne Klein, Birkenstock trainers, Danskos, and most dress shoes. After reading reviews that suggested Sambas "run big," I decided to purchase a half size smaller, but they were still too big even with an insole. I then opted for a full size smaller, a 6.5, and they fit much better. I prefer the shoe to be slightly snug rather than too big, as a larger fit could cause my toe to create a hole in the shoe due to upward movement.
