I bought this for one of my children who hikes often. It will suffice for day hikes and short overnight trips. Would be a good choice for the car, too. I cannot give a realistic rating because we haven’t used anything from it yet. My experience with this company’s products is positive.

Basic Medical Kit For Light Trips Or Hiking
My young daughters wanted their own med kits to keep in their camel backs. This was the only thing DSG had at the time that wasn’t excessively priced. They both got plenty of enjoyment playing with it. The zippers tore out almost immediately though.

Good Basic First Aid In A Small Package
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for just a basic light first aid kit for hiking and this seems adequate. Basic wound care, pain killers, tweezers, and a safety pin. I like the bag a lot. It has a guide on the back with the inventory and location. There might be a tiny bit of room to add a couple small items (like disposable gloves). It seems to be durable and the kit is very lightweight.
