I bought The precision 535 in 2020. It was my Covid exercise machine so I didn’t waste away in the house. I had broken my Knee earlier that year and was still building my quads. So after PT finished with me, I really needed to add to My workout to grow my strength. I’ve been using this reformer at least five days a week for 4 1/2 years. And it still works perfectly! The springs are just like when I bought them. They haven’t loosened at all! The padding is still the same on the foot bar as well as on the carriage. It feels like it’s still brand new. I bought several additions for it, including a box, a pull-up bar and an exercise mat to protect my floor. I’ve used it with the exercise mat on both wooden floors and carpeted floors and it works great. I didn’t feel it necessary to buy padded shoulder pads or padded straps or headrest. I do use a small, thick yoga pad on the foot bar just to protect my older heels. In the beginning, I noticed there was a little bit of obstruction with some of the plastic Inside the base where the foot bar inserts. I think it was there to strengthen the fixing of the bar. I tried to fix it, so it wasn’t an obstruction in several different ways, But eventually,. I just reached in with my fingers and removed it and everything worked fine. 🤷🏻♀️ I oiled the track once about 3 1/2 years ago because of squeaking. Never had to do it again. it made a little sound every now and again for the first year or so but I think once I broke it in, it stopped squeaking. I think the most difficult thing was measuring and length of my ropes/straps. And there was a couple times I had to adjust when they stretched a little as the knotts tightened. But I think I’ve adjusted them maybe three times in four years It’s my one go to exercise machine I really thought for the price that If I got a couple years out of it, I would be happy. Turns out I moved across the country and the one non-negotiable packing item was my reformer. It’s probably the best thing I bought for the money in the last three decades. I have no interest in replacing it or upgrading it for something more. It’s still like new in every way. I’m a little blown away by that. Really the best purchase ever! Highly recommend. And also, I put it together myself (I’m in my 60s) in about 40 minutes. I’m not much of a mechanical person either. It’s just really an awesome machine. Love that it folds and rolls. Great purchase.

Daughter purchased this about two years ago. I can do some things on this reformer but I really need it up off the floor a little. I have trouble getting up and down with my senior body. I realize there is no stand at least not yet. Why? Will box work on this reformer?

Overall I’m very pleased with this reformer. I did a lot of research before buying. Having a foldable machine as a top requirement helped narrowed it down. I also preferred actual springs to bands and feel like it was worth spending slightly more on this model for a higher quality machine compared to the much less expensive models. It’s easy to assemble and very easy to fold up. My only complaints so far…the straps they sent are quite small. There’s barely a difference between the foot strap and hand strap and they don’t fit around the shoulder rests for storage. Not a huge deal but annoying. The machine also does squeak and the padding is not great for the lower back as other reviewers mention. Those are both pretty easily solved. Overall, I’m very happy I made this purchase.

Happy with my purchase for the price. It is definitely worth it even though it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the expensive model.

I've only had the machine for a couple of weeks, but so far I love it! It's well built and surprisingly small once folded. It's perfect for apartment living because it's quiet and sturdy. The wheels have been a bit squeaky at times, but some WD-40 resolves it quickly. The rebounder has been a pleasant surprise, as it's a much tougher ab workout than expected. I wish that there were more workout videos included with the machine though. There are a couple of basic introductory level videos, but for those of us looking to utilize this machine in place of a studio workout, some Intermediate/Advanced videos would be nice.
