Expected More Out Of A $200+ Glove

My son is a highschool varsity catcher, he has gone through a couple of mitts in his 8-9 years of catching. This is the first time a pocket has torn. It took a bit for the mitt to break in so he didn't use it in games during the high school season last year. Now after less than 30 travel games last summer and 3 games this spring the pocket has torn and based on how it's made it appears to be irreparable. Really unfortunate because once the glove broke in he did like. Based on how this glove has held up we can't recommend it.
