1st Catcher's Mitt Purchase
Bought this mitt as my son was asked if he would like to try catcher. So far this mitt is perfect as an entry level glove. Did not want to spend a lot of money on it but also felt that if he really enjoyed catching we wanted one that was well built and would last.

Solid Glove
Great quality and design, but slow to break in even after steaming and oiling. Further, while the pocket comes preformed, it was difficult early on to secure the ball in the pocket. Ultimately took about a month of consistent use to break it in where the ball would remain in the pocket.

Lace Blew Out After 1 Month.
I bought in March. Now in April the ball blew the lace and ripped it all out. Glad it comes with a 1 year warranty. I never had this issue with Mizuno or Rawlings.
