The Dasher 2 is an improvement of the original Dasher shoe which was a very good shoe. The added grippy outsole traction allows me to use these shoes on fire road-type trail runs where the original Dasher shoe wasn't able to go. It also works better on wet road surfaces for runs and walks. The wide heel provides enough stability for turns on the trail while the upper allows for breathability. I use my Tree Dasher 2 over my Trail Runners SWT on dry runs on groomed trails where my Trail Runners are now used on technical trails or hikes. The monochromatic blue is attractive and easier to keep clean than my other Allbirds with blizzard (white) soles. I wish they would come out with more of these monochromatic colorways.
